Dermatomyositis is the most common form of idiopathic inflammatory myopathy. The skin lesions are very characteristic and precede or are concomitant to the development of myositis. The frequency of scalp damage in DM can be present in 28% of cases and is often found as part of an exacerbation of this disease. We present a female patient with dermatomyositis and trichoscopic findings and triple autoantibody positivity.
