Lupus enteritis is a very rare presentation of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Most of the reported cases are in patients previously diagnosed with (SLE). The diagnosis is based on a compatible clinical picture accompanied by imaging studies such as contrast-enhanced abdominal tomography. Histological reports may show only inflammatory changes. The suggested treatment is based on doses of steroids associated with cyclophosphamide. We present an unusual case of a young man with no relevant history who presented lupus enteritis as the first manifestation of the disease.
