APPENDIX 3: Qualitative analysis of the evidence on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
Autores: Sociedad Argentina de Reumatología
The following tables show studies summarized qualitatively because they are considered relevant to experts. This appendix does not include an assessment of the quality of evidence, as this process was performed based on the highest-quality studies. The studies included in this summary are: Clinical trials whose design does not allow for the comparison specified in the question, but contain related information that may be of interest to experts. Clinical trials that evaluate the comparators in the question but have outcomes that cannot be extracted due to various circumstances (e.g., efficacy measures reported at 12 months, efficacy outcomes measured at 12 or 24 weeks, lack of reporting of dispersion measures, reporting of adverse events (AEs) in patient-years rather than in number of events, etc.). Clinical trials with long-term outcomes for safety assessment. Prospective or retrospective longitudinal studies that do not have available evidence to answer the PICO.
